Facebook page administrators only allow users to delete or publish a page.

Creating a Facebook business page is a fairly quick process. Deleting or removing a business page is also quick.

There are two ways to "remove" a Facebook Business Page from public view You can delete a page (delete it permanently) or change the status of the page to "unpublished".

 You must be a page administrator to change a page's visibility or delete it

How to Delete a Facebook Business Page

Permanent deletion of a page. You will not receive an email notification from Facebook confirming your deletion. Your page will disappear on its due date. Make sure it's ready to move before you begin.

1. Go to your Facebook page profile and click on this link to go to Settings and Privacy screen

2. Click the View button next to Deactivation and deletion.

3. Click Delete Page and then Continue and follow the prompts.

Your page has now been scheduled for deletion. It will be deleted after 14 days. You can cancel a deletion by going to your page and clicking Cancel deletion at the top of the page Page cannot be retrieved after 14 days.

How to Unpublish a Facebook Business Page

A page is removed from public view if it is not published. This can be useful when you want to update or change your Facebook business page. It can be reactivated at any time.

1. Go to your Facebook page profile and click on this link to go to Settings and Privacy screen

2. Click the View button next to Deactivation and deletion.

3. Select the inactive page and select Continue and follow the prompts.

4. You'll need to answer a few questions about why you want to unpublish the page, and then click Disable

How to remove a page from your Business Manager

Removing a Page from Business Manager In situations where you no longer want to manage the business page but don't want to delete it. You must be an admin of the page to do this.

1. Go to business settings and select the business account you want to manage

2. Locate the page you want to remove in the list of pages and click the trash can icon to remove it.
