Those whose prayers will not be accepted | Halek Hossain

After faith, prayer is the main form of worship in Islam. Allah Ta'ala has made obligatory five times daily prayer on people. And he made it necessary to perform this prayer on time. Again, the Holy Prophet himself has compared the deliberate omission of a person to prayer as an act of disbelief.

However, there are many people who pray in accordance with Allah's command, but their prayers are not accepted. In the hadith, the beloved Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, mentioned three categories of people:

Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "The prayers of three people do not pass their ears - fugitive slaves; Until he comes back. Such a wife; Whose husband spent the night angry with her. And That imam; Whom the people dislike.' (Tirmidhi) If you show your hand to the count

Even if a ganak shows his hand with interest to know the good and bad of his life, that person's prayer for 40 days is not accepted. And if one believes in the words of God, then that person will become faithless. It is mentioned in the hadith- Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "Whoever goes to a accountant and asks about something (ghosts or the future good, bad or unseen), then his prayers for 40 days will not be accepted." (Muslim)

Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, 'Whoever goes to a fortune teller or an astrologer and believes the information given by him to be true, that person has disbelieved in the Qur'an revealed to Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam.' (Musnad Ahmad) alcohol drinker

The Holy Prophet declared in the hadith that if a Muslim drinks alcohol, his prayers will not be accepted for 40 days. It is mentioned in the hadith- Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, 'Whoever drinks alcohol among my ummah, Allah will not accept his prayers for 40 days.' (Nasa'i) Those who do not perform the right of prayer

Those who do not properly perform each of the steps of the prayer i.e. Ruku-Sajda during the prayer, do not perform the prayer. It is mentioned in the hadith- Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, 'O Muslims! That person does not pray; A person who does not straighten his back in Ruku and Sajdah.' (Musnad Ahmad, Ibn Majah)

In another hadith, "Allah does not even look at the prayer of a servant who does not straighten his back (from bowing and prostration)" (Musnad Ahmad). Heedless in the Jamaat after hearing the adhan

A person who goes to the mosque without reason and prays in congregation after hearing the adhan, his prayer will not be accepted. It is mentioned in the hadith- Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, 'Whoever does not pray after hearing the adhan comes to the mosque in congregation. If there is no Ujr, that person's prayer is not accepted.' (Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah)

Also, those who are mentioned in the hadith as not praying are:

Women going to the mosque using perfume. If that woman does not take a good bath for the purpose of impurity, her prayer will not be accepted (Ibn Majah). The prayers of disobedient children are not accepted. After donation, the person who preaches the donation with the womb does not pray. A person who denies destiny. The prayer of the person who claims the next father as his own father is not accepted. (Bukhari-Muslim) A person who kills a Muslim and feels proud and happy about it, that person's prayer is not accepted.' A person (administrative authority or judge) who prevents execution of the law of casus i.e. revenge of murder for murder. That person's prayer is not accepted.' (Abu Dawud, Nasa'i)

Whoever betrays the Muslims, his prayer will not be accepted.' (Bukhari-Muslim)

So a believing Muslim should refrain from the mentioned things. Protecting oneself from the things mentioned in the hadith. May Allah Ta'ala grant Tawfik to the Muslim Ummah to refrain from the mentioned matters. Grant the Tawfiq to pray properly. Amin.
