By the time I posted my message, my fate was already decided.

I may not have another chance to express my thoughts to everyone. Maybe this is all I can leave.

The last few years have been a very difficult journey for me and my family, and the future will be even more challenging. I just pray that everything gets easier. There are those who say that this political world is oppressive, cruel, hostile, cunning in exchange for treachery and humiliation.

I myself have seen and felt these things so far. Maybe this is my destiny on earth. I became active in the world of politics and public service in 1976. 46 years to date. Leading Malaysia for almost 10 years. Some say that rising does not step on adversaries, falling does not drag down friends.

I guess you should never be a gentleman in politics. But that's my personality, how can I be someone I'm not?

All this time I just want to give my best effort. All I wanted to do was give it my best and do the best I could. Addressing legacy issues left behind by senior leaders. Going through various financial crises. Double the size of our economy from RM700 billion to RM1.4 trillion.

Build national wealth by increasing the value of treasury assets from RM33 billion to RM116 billion. About 4 times. Strengthening Tabung Hajir assets from RM21 billion to RM74 billion. More than 3 times. Bringing EPF assets from RM300 billion to RM800 billion. About 3 times.

Confirmed that Petronas' reserves increased from RM30 billion to RM176 billion. About 6 times. Gross national wealth increased from RM800 billion to more than RM2 trillion.

Pay maximum grants and dividends to EPF, Tabung Haji and ASB contributors consistently throughout my tenure as Prime Minister.

Fairly and equitably, providing welfare assistance through direct cash grants and increasing its rates, extending eligibility year after year. To help the public service with perks, increments, income and rewards every year. Putting people first with 1Malaysia Clinic, UTC, Rakyat Housing, Hajj Kota, SL1M.

From fishermen to small-scale, low-income families to singles, school children, IPT and TVET students, youth who dream of affordable housing, public transport and infrastructure are in need of modernization.

Be it a toll-free highway or a modern train service connecting the entire Klang Valley, Sabah and Sarawak. Never leave the people. I am only interested in doing my job, giving my best.

In fact, by providing employment insurance schemes and EPF fights to issue i-sinar, i-Lestari, i-Citra to protect the survival of people in times of dire need. Never leave the people. It's okay if someone doesn't appreciate it. It's okay if no one appreciates them. Such is life after all. I sincerely lead Malaysia. I gave my best, I tried my best. It's okay if someone doesn't appreciate it.

Only Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala knows best. Only Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala understands my sacrifice in this journey. Carrying the ark of UMNO and Barisan Nasional, its millions of members, party management and needs.

From the center to the department to the branch and the grass root, which is ultimately in the hands of the people, lighten the existing burden. Make the government popular and give whatever is there to those who really need it. For my personal sacrifice - time and family, from dawn to dusk. Now facing heavy doubts that test me and my family. I encountered it.

Maybe.....that's the price of the sacrifice.
