In order to enhance the security features and skills in verifying all UNHCR documents, including paper documents on July 25, 2022, UNHCR is issuing a new version of UNHCR documents. Under Convention (UC) letter and certified true copy (CTC) letter will include a QR code issued by the people who have lost the documents that allow the Google Play Store and here the available UNHCR verification Plus Mobile app and in the Apple Store.

Until July 25, new registered people, as well as their expired documents will be renewed or a new version of UC Letters or CTC with the CUR code that comes to replace their lost documents at the reception center. For people with existing UC or CTC characters except the QR code, the documents will be valid until the expiry date. UNHCR existing documents will not replace the QR code new version.

If you have lost your UNHCR documents, you should notify UNHCR immediately using this form. Please remind that keeping your UNHCR document securely is important because it shows your identity and legal position in accordance with UNHCR. Lost UNHCR documents will be disabled immediately, and UNHCR verified plus application will be able to detect inactive documents to prevent misuse of lost documents.
