I am drawing the attention of the higher authorities in charge of policy making of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
There are secondary, higher secondary schools and many primary schools located in different districts, upazilas and unions of Bangladesh. Online registration of all students has been made compulsory as per the guidelines of the government. If you want to register the birth of each student online, you have to register the birth of the parents online first. One MBBS doctor's
certificate is required as per the instructions of the Union Parishad to register one birth online. To get this certificate one has to pay Rs.500 to the doctor. In order for a student to register his birth online, a total of three people, including parents, have to register online at a total cost of around Rs. 2500/3000. It is not at all possible for this money to be borne by the poorest families. On the one hand, the families are struggling to pay the various school fees, on the other hand, the pressure of online registration.
If this continues, the children of the lower middle class families of the society will fall behind in education.
So I am drawing the attention of the appropriate authorities to try to resolve the issues without delay. Things seem so painful to me.
